NHOM NHOM's Story
I started the NhomNhomFood cooking channel in March 2020. For the first time ever, the Covid lockdown forced people to stay at home. The cities were all closed. Consequently, home-cooking has inevitably become a new habit for not only me but also for many people. Besides, Tiktok was also a hit platform during that time. Many people, especially Generation Z, started using it, creating many new dancing, and singing trends.
When surfing Tiktok, I love watching cooking tutorial videos. However, it was hard to find those videos in Vietnamese that are quick, condensed, and aesthetic as my preference. Most of the time, the aesthetic cooking videos were Chinese with subtitles. Besides, Tiktok seemed to be covered with many "Dolce" dancing trends, so I think that uploading the tutorial videos would somehow help the users have beneficial knowledge when scrolling through the Tiktok feed. Those are the reasons why I started NhomNhomFood. After a few days of planning for the content, the first video about how to make the creamy flan was uploaded on my Tiktok channel. The video surpassed 1 million views within a week, which made me feel thrilled.
The name "NhomNhomFood" chosen for the channel, was an unexpected decision. I seriously thought about it in order to have a long-term, meaningful name. Some options were: AnNgonChannel, ONhaAnGi, etc., but I felt those were not distinctive enough. Back then, the word "Mlem Mlem" was a trend on social media. Generation Z used it to describe delicious food and beautiful things. I took that word as an inspiration. Then, NhomNhomFood was born.

With the brand guidelines for strong brand identity and quality consistency, the department successfully executes Marketing projects that bring strong brand impressions with clear key messages aligning with the brand vision and mission.
